PRESIDENT'S WELCOME
On behalf of the brothers of Phi Beta Lambda at the University of Michigan, it is my pleasure to welcome you to our chapter’s official website.
Established on campus in early 2017, PBL is a co-ed professional business fraternity and is part of the FBLA-PBL network– the largest business Career and Technical Student Organization in the world. While we are affiliated with the Ross School of Business and enjoy all of the resources our affiliation provides, our organization is open to all undergraduate students at the University of Michigan. Our brotherhood provides professional development resources, leadership opportunities, and a close-knit collegiate community to all of our members.
The brotherhood of Phi Beta Lambda is one built on integrity, respect, and love for one another. We strive to hold ourselves to the highest standards of academics and professionalism to become leaders who will shape the future. By focusing on diversity, equity, and inclusion and service in our community we ensure all levels of Michigan’s student population are part of our mission to become an asset to the greater Ann Arbor community.
Since my first impressions of PBL’s community, I was struck by the kindness and emphasis on community of the brotherhood, and I hope all that interact with us are able to glean the same impressions. Upon becoming a member, I have grown professional skills far beyond even what I imagined through a rigorous education semester and valuable mentorship experiences. I’ve received unparalleled advice and preparation from PBL's extensive network as I begin my professional journey, and I, along with the brotherhood, hope to pass this community to you.
PBL has been my home at the University of Michigan. Each and every one of our members has incredibly high aspirations, and I encourage you to engage with any and all of our brothers to gather information on who PBL can help you become. PBL has given me the confidence and support I need to navigate the incredibly daunting real world and has given me the resources and skill set to envision a future that previously seemed unattainable.
