PROFESSIONAL
In Phi Beta Lambda, brothers are exposed to a variety of professional experiences such as networking events, career fairs, presentations from top executives, and assistance with resume building as well as LinkedIn. In the past, executives from companies such as PwC and Quicken Loans have come in to speak exclusively to our brothers. Additionally, our brothers have interned at companies in various industries such as finance, consulting, marketing, and technology.
SOCIAL
Phi Beta Lambda is more than a professional network. We host many brotherhood bonding events throughout the year, including formals in Downtown Detroit, painting “The Rock,” potluck dinners, barn dances, and brotherhood trips to SkyZone! By participating in Professional Greek Week, co-hosting social events with other organizations, and more, PBL provides brothers with the opportunity to expand their networks and get to know other students on campus.
Phi Beta Lambda participates in a variety of philanthropic endeavors throughout the year. Our national charity is March of Dimes and we actively support it through a variety of fundraisers such as an annual March Madness bracket tournament. Additionally, PBL is participates in many on campus philanthropy events such as M-Relay and Dance Marathon to bond and make an impact on the larger campus community.
PHILANTHROPY
Unique to only Phi Beta Lambda, the national professional fraternity's network enables our brotherhood the opportunity to participate in state (IL) and national competitions. These events have numerous categories ranging from business law exams to impromptu presentations to test our brothers' acumen and benchmark soft skills relative to other students. In addition, select leadership in PBL will be able to expand their network and grow their professional skills at Phi Beta Lambda's annual leadership conference held every summer at varying cities.
