About Us

Re-established at the University of Michigan in 2017, Phi Beta Lambda is a professional business fraternity dedicated to providing college students an opportunity to improve their business acumen, develop valuable leadership skills, network with top business and student leaders across the country, and build an outstanding resume. Ultimately, our mission is to accelerate members’ professional development through a supportive, familial environment leading to internships and careers in desired industries.

Our members have ample opportunity from the beginning of their new member term to take on over 30 leadership positions and make tangible differences in a rapidly growing organization.

Our Pillars

Professional

In Phi Beta Lambda, brothers are exposed to a variety of professional experiences such as networking events, career fairs, presentations from top executives, and assistance with resume building as well as LinkedIn. In the past, executives from companies such as PwC, Morgan Stanley, and Converse have come in to speak exclusively to our brothers. Additionally, our brothers have interned at companies in various industries such as finance, consulting, marketing, accounting, operations, supply chain, and technology.

Social

Phi Beta Lambda is more than a professional network. We host many brotherhood bonding events throughout the year, including formals in Downtown Detroit, painting “The Rock,” potluck dinners, barn dances, and brotherhood trips to Chicago! From weekly brotherhood socials, to co-hosting events with other organizations, to planning fan-favorite game day tailgates, PBL provides brothers with the opportunity to expand their networks and get to know other students on campus.

Philanthropy

Phi Beta Lambda participates in a variety of philanthropic endeavors throughout the year. Our national charity is March of Dimes and we actively support it through a variety of fundraisers such as an annual March Madness bracket tournament. Additionally, PBL participates in many on campus philanthropy events such as M-Relay and Dance Marathon to bond and make an impact on the larger campus community.
