President’s Welcome
On behalf of the brothers of Phi Beta Lambda at the University of Michigan, it is my pleasure to welcome you to our chapter’s official website.
Established on campus in early 2017, PBL is a co-ed professional business fraternity and is part of the FBLA-PBL network– the largest business Career and Technical Student Organization in the world. While we are affiliated with the Ross School of Business and enjoy all of the resources our affiliation provides, our organization is open to all undergraduate students at the University of Michigan. Our brotherhood provides professional development resources, leadership opportunities, and a close-knit collegiate community to all of our members.
The brotherhood of Phi Beta Lambda is one built on integrity, respect, and love for one another. We strive to hold ourselves to the highest standards of academics and professionalism to become leaders who will shape the future. By focusing on diversity, equity, and inclusion and service in our community we ensure all levels of Michigan’s student population are part of our mission to become an asset to the greater Ann Arbor community.
My passion for the wonderful PBL community was instilled in me from the very beginning of my own rush process. I was met with a warm and inviting atmosphere before becoming a member which has not changed since joining. Upon becoming a member, I have grown professionally through my rigorous education semester, senior mentorship pairings, and brotherhood coffee chats. I gained so much from the extensive network of brothers I have access to from their diverse experiences and invaluable advice. To me, PBL is a home– a place where I can unapologetically be my authentic self and count on people for anything I may need. PBL has given me the confidence and support I need to navigate the complex world of business as well as given me the skill sets necessary to fearlessly venture into the uncertainties of our complex future.
